Some of the questions I am most frequently asked by salon owners include questions about human resource management and client retention.
The trouble is that salon owners only ask these questions when they have staff problems and need to initiate disciplinary action or when client numbers have reduced and they need to take remedial action.
If these salons had professional Human Resources Policies and a Client Retention Procedure in place they would never need to ask the difficult questions in the first instance. Quite often by the time the salon owner is asking the questions – it’s too late and the business cannot be saved.
If there is one message I can give to the readers of this message it is this. Please spend equal time and budget on business development training as you do creative training.
Why? Because even the most talented stylist in the world is useless without a constant flow of new clients to his or her chair!
If you take this advice your business will grow, if you do not you are very likely to run into trouble in the future.
In April only we are giving away our “Client Retention Best Practice Guide” book Simply register for and download your free book.
