- Ensure your employee contracts have a meaningful job description

- Initiate a meaningful staff productivity appraisal system bespoke per salon trade
- Ensure that every employee fully understands their role and responsibilities
- Issue meaningful staff productivity targets
- Follow targets up with further appraisals, remedial training and encouragement
